Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Sole British Citizenship
- Strong background in software engineering and its realization with a focus on system-wide impact
- Experience working in C++
- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Ada and QT is a plus
- Knowledge of DDS middleware and Real-Time Operating Systems
- Understanding of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, or IEC61508, including restricted coding standards like MISRA C
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the ongoing design and development of Command and Control architectures, as well as the instantiations for future products. We are looking for a proactive Software Engineer who takes the initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment. Your key tasks will include engaging with requirement authorities, overseeing the entire software development process, and working towards automated target integration and proving, all while maintaining effective documentation.

We are currently seeking a C++ Software Engineer to join our Bristol office on a contract basis for a period of 6 to 12 months, with a competitive rate of £65 per hour via Umbrella.
