Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a similar Quality role
- Strong understanding of quality principles and risk identification
- Ability to translate engineering requirements into structured tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, confident with shop floor and senior stakeholders
- Analytical, logical thinker
- Aerospace & defence background (desirable)
- Experience with SAP, Matlab, Excel (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Support Quality Manager and Principal Quality Engineer
- Investigate non-conformances (root cause & corrective action)
- Review and approve returns, concessions and repair documentation
- Ensure traceability and configuration control
- Liaise with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 / ISO9001
- Provide quality reports and support continuous improvement
Description
We are Meridian Business Support, recruiting for our client in Luton who is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their Operations Quality team. This temporary role has a strong likelihood of extension and offers the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate. You will work within a regulated aerospace and defence environment, acting as a Quality focal point supporting in-service and returns material activities.
