As a Data Specialist at Mercator Digital, I seek dynamic, forward-thinking individuals who excel in communication and are eager to learn new technologies while promoting best practices. You should have proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (including Projects, IAM, Storage, Dataprep), Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and JSON data handling. Hands-on expertise with Google 360 (GA, GTM, Data Studio), user journey analysis, goal tracking, and dashboard/report building is essential. You should be proficient in designing and managing ETL pipelines using Google Dataprep, as well as building dashboards using Google Data Studio, SQL, Google Sheets, and GA data. Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Trello is expected. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will need to convey complex insights clearly and inclusively to a diverse range of stakeholders. Public sector experience and Agile/Scrum certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding product owners' needs to translate business requirements into analytics requirements, ensuring that priorities are met. You will create visualizations of data, conduct deep-dive analyses, and share insights and recommendations. Ensuring data collection and standardization is essential, and you will be expected to explain methodologies to stakeholders. You will communicate efficiently and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to foster an open and collaborative culture. Moreover, you will enable data-driven decision-making to personalize the journeys of individuals, ensuring they have the best and most appropriate experiences. You will also produce product performance dashboards, user segmentation analysis, and implement media agency tagging, along with program dashboards and weekly analysis/information updates.
