As a candidate, I am seeking individuals with strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. It's essential for applicants to have experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts. Familiarity with the Salesforce sharing model and security best practices in Experience Cloud is also preferable. Candidates should have a background in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations and an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience with source control management and DevOps tools, specifically Azure DevOps or similar, is required. Additionally, I expect candidates to have experience integrating with third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Candidates must possess database experience with SQL, DB2, SOQL/SOSL, etc. I also require applicants to have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related area (or an international equivalent), along with at least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with 3 years specifically in Salesforce Experience Cloud. Knowledge of agile software development practices and security best practices for compliance requirements is crucial. Lastly, excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with the ability to maintain professional relationships with business partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In the role of Salesforce Developer, I will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions, focusing on Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. I will design and implement customized Experience Cloud sites, including customer, partner, and employee portals, while developing Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Visualforce pages as needed. My duties include configuring and customizing Experience Builder and leveraging standard components for responsive UI/UX. I will integrate third-party tools, APIs, and Salesforce data models to support seamless site functionality and collaborate with designers, admins, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. I will ensure optimal site performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness, while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Experience Cloud sites and underlying Salesforce configurations. Additionally, I will maintain documentation of customizations, processes, and best practices, engaging with stakeholders to understand business objectives and deliver robust solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. My contributions will encompass all aspects of the development process, including planning and estimation, writing code, creating automated tests, maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) builds and environments, deploying solutions, and supporting production systems. I will work within an Agile framework to ensure quality assurance activities are integrated into development and release cycles, utilizing Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and coordinating testing efforts.
Description
This position is based in Hemel Hempstead, offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £50,000, along with benefits including a pension, bonus, and flexible working arrangements. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. I offer up to a 10% bonus and up to 15% pension, in addition to excellent employee welfare schemes and programs.
