Requirements
Must:
- Portfolio demonstrating responsive web development and front-end implementation.
- Hands-on experience loading products to an e-commerce site, creating content, landing pages, and links.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common libraries/frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles including on-page SEO, meta tags, structured data, crawlability, and page speed.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive best practices.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics tools (e.g., AHREFS, Google Analytics).
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a user-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- I will implement designs within the capabilities of our bespoke operating platform, collaborating closely with developers.
- I will ensure that all pages and components are SEO-friendly, focusing on structure, metadata, schema/structured data, internal linking, and performance.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content, Development, Product Loading, Sales, and Customer Service.
- I will monitor and optimize page speed, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
- I will conduct user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterate designs based on insights and analytics.
- I will stay updated on design, UX, SEO, and front-end development trends and best practices and share recommendations with the team.
Description
We are Medway Golf Centre Ltd, established in 1991, renowned for our quality products and service in the golf equipment retail industry. We operate two leading e-commerce websites, which together form one of the largest golf e-commerce companies in Europe. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with benefits such as 28 days of annual leave, a company pension scheme, a bonus scheme, and a collaborative, supportive work environment.
