We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and software release processes. Ideally, you will have:
- In-depth, hands-on experience supporting a broad range of AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) in a secure, scalable enterprise setting.
- Proven experience with monitoring and alerting systems, with the ability to interpret metrics and logs to drive decisions.
- Familiarity with change control environments and practices.
- A solid understanding of risk management in cloud-based systems.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in engaging stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing challenges.
- Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team, prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
- A passion for continuous learning, improvement, and championing positive change within the team.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the development of infrastructure and processes aligned with our business objectives. You will:
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement, particularly through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Design, implement, and operate scalable, resilient infrastructure with high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in AWS, including networking and firewall configurations.
- Integrate infrastructure processes into CI/CD pipelines and adopt DevSecOps principles to embed security and automation into the lifecycle.
- Strengthen the security posture of our AWS environment by applying best practices and policies.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to ensure effective handover to BAU teams.
