Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of the full Systems Design Life Cycle
- Proven experience delivering complex mechatronic, electrical, or software systems at whole-vehicle level
- Excellent technical project and programme management skills
- Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA
- Hands-on knowledge of CANalyser, Wireshark, and diagnostic tools
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
- Degree-level education preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and maturation of customer features and functions to programme gateway sign-off
- Co-ordinate cross-functional delivery activities across engineering domains, translating plans into clear, time-based integration goals
- Ensure seamless execution across all phases of delivery, including requirements definition, architecture finalisation, network design, and test case execution
- Manage feature and system bring-up on vehicle and test assets, identifying and resolving timing or technical integration issues
- Work within Agile delivery environments, proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and resolving cross-functional disconnects
- Maintain the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within JIRA, co-ordinating inputs and producing weekly consolidated integration reports
- Provide transparent reporting on feature availability and maturity to stakeholders across the business
- Support and contribute to bi-weekly showcases presented to senior leadership
- Support the Technical Group Lead in delivering fully integrated software to vehicle programmes
- Lead and participate in cross-functional problem-solving activities for complex system integration challenges
Description
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle System Integration Lead to join our team at our Gaydon location, where we operate in a hybrid model requiring 2 days per week onsite. This 6-month contract, with the potential for extensions, offers a competitive day rate of £260 inside IR35. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end integration of customer features and systems into our current and future vehicle programmes, working across engineering domains to ensure we deliver high-quality solutions in a planned and controlled manner.
