Requirements
Must:
- Strong Java engineering skills with a focus on performance, concurrency, and real-time systems
- Understanding of low-latency and high-throughput system design
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with FIX and market connectivity
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD tooling
- Ideally, experience in trading or other latency-sensitive domains
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance algorithmic trading engines (VWAP, TWAP, SOR, internal crossing)
- Deliver framework-level improvements to a high-performance Java platform
- Work directly with quant traders to translate trading logic into production systems
- Contribute across the full lifecycle including design, build, optimisation, and production support
- Drive performance and scalability improvements in a low-latency environment
