Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of Python, Unix Shell scripting, and SQL
- Good understanding of development tools including source code control software, automated build, automated testing, and JIRA
- Understanding of infrastructure as code concepts is desirable
- Experience with build automation, test-driven development, continuous integration, and delivery
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Previous SRE experience, including knowledge of SLO, SLA, SLI, and error budgets, is advantageous
- Familiarity with one public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
Responsibilities
As an SRE Engineer on a 7-month contract, I will play an important role in the operations, design, and development of our modern public cloud offering. I will leverage my past experience to work within a talented group to further evolve our technical capabilities. My focus will be on driving improvements by implementing key SRE practices, fostering automation, and unlocking new capabilities for our clients.
