Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with software development experience in C#, with Python considered a plus. Full stack development experience, preferably in JavaScript, is also desired. Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading distributed engineering teams and delivering complex software projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial, along with experience in agile methodologies and product development workflows.
Responsibilities
As the Engineering Lead, I will expect you to lead the design, development, and delivery of our products. You will architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems using the most appropriate technologies. Managing and mentoring a high-performing engineering team is a key aspect of this role, where you will foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and commercial teams to translate business goals into technical solutions. Additionally, you’ll champion modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps. It will be essential for you to drive the pragmatic adoption of AI technologies that support our business growth while managing risks. Evaluating and introducing new tools, frameworks, and platforms as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. You will ensure that technical decisions support long-term scalability and maintainability and contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development. Finally, you will take ownership of the build and maintenance of our internal systems and applications.
