Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualities:
- Experience leading the design and development of high-availability, distributed platforms in the Front Office Pricing domain.
- Experience managing and directing small teams of technical experts.
- Experience providing technical expertise and guidance to developers and overseeing the implementation and delivery of projects along with a pipeline of Business As Usual (BAU) enhancements and fixes.
- A technical/development background, with preferred experience in server-side C# development.
- Knowledge of FX/Rate products.
- Key competencies should include multi-stakeholder arbitration, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A business-oriented mindset with a clear focus on results and outcomes.
- Hands-on C# coding skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will provide technical leadership for the design, development, and innovation of our global E-Trading Rates platform, drawing on my previous expert C# experience working on similar platforms. I will collaborate with technology heads and business stakeholders in London to ensure alignment between business needs and technical direction. This includes interpreting business requirements and facilitating ideation for technical solutions. I will enforce bank policies and standards in the development and deployment of applications and will be accountable for the recruitment and development of new team members. Additionally, I will communicate delivery status and milestones to stakeholders and develop relationships across the technology organization to ensure alignment and co-deliver overall business workflows.
