Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, or Python. You should have a strong background in architecting and building complex systems and knowledge of financial services applications, including risk, transaction processing, and data security. Strong communication skills are essential for presenting complex ideas to stakeholders. Experience working with data scientists to productionise models and familiarity with AI frameworks such as NLP, knowledge graphs, or recommendation systems is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable AI-driven architecture platforms. You will embed AI/ML models into production systems, such as recommendation engines. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of AI best practices across development teams and lead and participate in architecture communities of practice. Staying ahead of technology trends, including cloud, AI, distributed systems, and data security, will be an important part of your role.
Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Architect/Developer to join our Investment Bank on a long-term contract in Glasgow, requiring 3 days onsite per week. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £55-67.45 per hour PAYE, which equates to around £500 per day. You will be working within the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) division, collaborating with architects, data scientists, and development teams to embed AI/ML models into enterprise systems. You will also help shape the bank's AI architecture strategy and contribute to communities of practice that foster innovation across the organization.
