Must:
We are looking for candidates with a high level of technical and scientific knowledge, combined with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems. An understanding of configuration control is essential. You should have a degree or relevant experience in an Engineering discipline, as well as excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to convey technical content clearly in written form, particularly maintenance instructions, is important. You must demonstrate success in solving problems under pressure while working to tight deadlines, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience within a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline. Working knowledge of 3D CAD software is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide timely engineering input to our Customer Support team to address reported in-service issues. You will act as a focal point between the Customer Support department and other departments for all technical queries. Your responsibilities include discussing and resolving complex problems with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers. You will conduct Design Reviews to identify root causes and agree on solutions, design bespoke aftermarket parts using design software, and liaise daily with departments such as Production, Quality, and Certification. Additionally, you will create Engineering Change Requests and Service Bulletins to implement design changes for in-service programs and develop Service Information Letters for maintenance clarification.
