Requirements
Must:
- Around a year or more in an infrastructure or 3rd line role
- Hands-on exposure to Azure, not just theory
- Solid understanding of infrastructure such as networking, servers, and security
- Comfortable working across hybrid environments
- Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and get involved
Responsibilities
- Acting as the go-to for 3rd line issues when things get tricky
- Building and improving Azure environments including networking, security, and availability
- Spinning up and managing resources like VMs, storage, SQL, and application gateways
- Keeping everything monitored, patched, and running properly
- Getting involved in cloud migrations from on-prem to Azure
- Working with security best practices including RBAC, policies, and Defender
