Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and security governance frameworks.
- Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft 365 security/compliance tools.
- Proven background in GDPR compliance and data protection.
- Experience in DLP policy design and incident response.
- Security certifications (e.g., CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the configuration, optimisation, and ongoing management of Microsoft Purview (DLP, data governance, compliance).
- I will contribute to the design and implementation of ISO 27001 ISMS and GRC frameworks.
- I will support GDPR compliance initiatives, including data handling, privacy controls, and audit readiness.
- I will develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- I will drive security awareness programmes across the organisation.

We are a leading UK enterprise manufacturing business based in Hull, offering a salary of up to £53,000. This role is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical work with Microsoft Purview and wider Microsoft security tooling, while also shaping security processes, policies, and risk frameworks as we build a mature information security posture.
