Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Weapons Business Unit in Barrow-in-Furness on a 6-month contract. You will contribute to critical naval projects, playing a key role in the development and enhancement of advanced defence systems. As a skilled Senior Software Engineer, you will bring expertise in both Embedded C and C#. You will have proficiency in programming and tools such as Embedded C, C#, Matlab, and Simulink. Additionally, a strong knowledge of safety practices, particularly DEFSTANs, as well as experience in safety-critical industries is essential. A background in safety and familiarity with electronics or electronic systems is highly desirable.
