Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience programming AFP/ATL systems for composite part production. - Proficiency with CAM and simulation software, ideally including CATIA V5/V6, CADFiber, CATFiber, and Vericut Composites. - Strong understanding of composite materials, fibre paths, plybooks, and defect mitigation. - Solid knowledge of automated layup constraints and manufacturing best practices. - A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering problems.

We are urgently seeking an experienced Research Engineer / Advanced Research Engineer to join our cutting-edge composites team in Bristol on a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension to 9-12 months. The role is located on-site in Bristol and is classified as inside IR35, with a rate of £60-£68/hour Umbrella (£44-£50/hour PAYE).
