Senior Service Designer

In this role, I expect you to lead and develop user-centered design (UCD) strategies, scoping, delivering, and leading components of end-to-end UCD activities across a variety of program contexts. You will recommend and execute appropriate UCD activities based on project needs and create and maintain phase-appropriate UCD deliverables. It's essential that you articulate project problems, scopes, and success criteria clearly to diverse audiences through compelling communication. You will manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in while being regarded as a trusted expert in UCD by the project team and senior client stakeholders. Additionally, I want you to upskill and educate stakeholders and colleagues on user-centered design approaches and agile transformation methods. You will need to be commercially aware, identifying new opportunities for delivering client value or cross-selling services. Proactively addressing blockers or risks within delivery and acting as a troubleshooter while managing ambiguity and organizational complexities will also be key parts of your role. Lastly, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and new clients. This includes leading on persuasive business proposals and applying UCD and agile approaches to transformation project bids, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
