Senior Interaction Designer - Reading

In this role, you will lead the design of effective and intuitive interaction patterns for digital products and services. You'll translate user research findings into actionable designs, creating high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that communicate design concepts clearly while ensuring alignment with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and GDS/NHS service principles. Conducting usability testing and iterating on designs based on user feedback and data insights will be key parts of your responsibilities. You'll manage interaction design deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs while collaborating with project leads, delivery managers, and stakeholders to align interaction designs with broader project objectives. As a subject matter expert on interaction design, you'll troubleshoot challenges in design delivery and ensure that solutions meet user and business needs. Mentoring and supporting junior interaction designers will be crucial, as you foster their growth and development. You'll also build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for interaction design and effectively communicating design strategies and solutions to various stakeholders.
