Requirements
Must:
- 8-10+ years of total software development experience
- Minimum 2-3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Pega development
- Strong understanding of BPM solutions, case types, workflows, and rule components using Pega 8.x
- Proficient in Java backend development and custom component creation
- Experience with middleware services such as Hazelcast (IMDG, caching)
- Knowledge of building and consuming REST/SOAP connectors, MQ/JMS
- Familiarity with integrating relational databases (SQL, Oracle) or mainframe systems (DB2, CICS)
- Skill in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS/Angular)
- Capable of analyzing and debugging high-severity production issues
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and performance optimization
- Comfortable participating in Agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Responsibilities
- Design and implement BPM solutions, case types, workflows, and rule components using Pega 8.x
- Develop custom Java components for complex business logic and interact with middleware services
- Build and consume REST/SOAP connectors, MQ/JMS, and integrate with relational databases or mainframe systems
- Create user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Analyze and debug high-severity production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
