Requirements
Must:
- 5-10 years of experience as a tester or senior tester
- Growth mindset with good communication skills
- Team player
- API Testing & RESTful API knowledge using Postman and Cypress
- Experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Gherkin, Junit
- Scripting skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in designing test cases, executing tests, and identifying defects
- Familiarity with agile practices and experience in agile teams (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- AWS experience (S3, Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch)
- SQL expertise for data validation and back-end testing
- Defect management skills for tracking and prioritizing bugs
- Commitment to quality assurance and promoting quality standards
- Familiar with collaboration tools like GitHub and Jira
- Experience with CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Exposure to performance/security testing tools like JMeter (optional)
Responsibilities
- Design and execute API tests
- Develop and maintain automation infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to clarify requirements
- Execute tests and identify defects
- Perform root cause analysis of bugs
- Promote quality assurance across teams
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Utilize collaboration tools for version control and project management
