Must:
We expect our candidates to have substantial experience with AWS cloud services, including ECR, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and Apigee. You should be proficient in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Jenkins, Node 10, Groovy, Bash, and TypeScript. Familiarity with tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Maven, Docker, Fortify on Demand, and SonarQube is essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of testing frameworks like Karate, Gherkin, Cypress, and Jest. Its important that you understand DevOps practices and have the ability to design and implement secure systems. Experience with automation and integration tools, as well as service support and fault resolution, is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage tools and testing environments while maintaining development standards. You will be responsible for automating systems and processes, designing secure software solutions, and collaborating effectively with development teams. Monitoring and resolving service faults will be part of your day-to-day tasks. Youll use CI/CD pipelines and source control, apply modern development standards, and integrate various systems and services. Supporting service operations and maintenance will be a key responsibility as well.
Description
We are looking for a Technical Lead to support the development and operation of software through secure tools and environments. You should have significant experience as a Java developer, particularly with AWS cloud services. Proficiency in technologies such as AngularJS, Jenkins, Karate, Gherkin, and Cypress is also necessary. We are expecting our candidates to hold an AWS Associate Developer certification or above. This full-time position is located in Leeds, UK, with the requirement of being in the office three days a week.
