- I possess strong expertise in Azure Synapse, Databricks, Palantir Foundry, and cloud-based data solutions.
- I have an in-depth understanding of ETL pipelines, data modeling, and integration.
- Familiarity with NHS data governance and compliance standards is preferred.
- I demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- I will define and document the target architecture for the new NHS data platform.
- I will evaluate existing data pipelines and workflows for modernization opportunities.
- I will architect scalable solutions leveraging Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry.
- I will provide guidance on best practices for data integration, security, and governance.
- I will collaborate with technical teams to create a Proof of Concept (PoC) and validate architectural decisions.
- I will ensure the architecture complies with NHS data standards and governance requirements.
- I will support the transition to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Description
We are offering an excellent opportunity for applicants looking for a permanent role in a hybrid work model. The start date is ASAP, and the work location is in London. We are excited to find a talented Data Architect to define and design the future-state architecture for the NHS data platform, driving the migration from existing data stores and Alteryx workflows to a more robust, scalable platform such as Palantir Foundry or Databricks. In this position, I will work closely with Analysts, Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project’s strategic goals and compliance standards.
