Requirements

Must:
- Strong background in NetSecOps / Network Security Engineering in enterprise environments - Hands-on with NAC platforms (e.g. Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass, Forescout) - Expertise in 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, device profiling, certificates - Solid LAN/WAN knowledge: switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, BGP/OSPF - Experience with large-scale LAN migration or refresh programmes - Knowledge of segmentation, firewalls, and zero-trust networking - Experience in large retail or multi-site environments (desirable)

Were seeking a hands-on Network Security Operations Engineer (NetSecOps) to support a major Network Access Control (NAC) rollout and LAN modernisation programme across a large, distributed retail estate. You will work closely with our Networks team to strengthen access control, segmentation, and operational security at scale. This position is a 3-month contract, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence once a week in Northampton.
