Requirements
Must:
- At least 2 years of experience with Laravel
- At least 5 years of experience with frameworked languages (Laravel or others)
- Proficient in SQL/MySQL/MariaDB indexes & table design
- Experience working with big data
- Familiarity with various APIs (e.g., Stripe, Google, AWS, OpenAI)
- Understanding of backend concepts such as data caching and job queues
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Willingness to travel to Chester once or twice per month
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
- Ability to work as part of a small team and take initiative
Responsibilities
- Assist in modernizing the Laravel app
- Collaborate with the developer team to further capitalize on business growth
- Solve problems proactively rather than just completing tasks
- Engage with the app and show genuine interest in its development
- Contribute to a small agile team without relying on junior developers
- Ask intelligent questions to enhance understanding and improve systems
Description
We are an established and fast-growing business, currently offering a hybrid/remote working model with the requirement of at least one day a month in our Chester office.
