We are looking for an Application Support Analyst who is a high-caliber individual with exceptional personal drive and eagerness for personal development. Previous experience in a similar role or a demonstrated passion for supporting customers through technology is essential. The successful candidate will have: - Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion and desire to help people, along with the drive and tenacity to own issues from start to finish. - The ability to manage escalations and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. - An excellent approach to problem-solving, characterized by detective-like skills and a positive attitude towards understanding and resolving complex problems. - Experience mentoring junior team members during their investigations. - A proactive and consistent approach to work, driving improvement in your areas of responsibility and beyond. Essential skills include: - A passion for technology, along with a desire to learn about new systems and tools. - Experience in ITIL best practices, supporting bespoke software, cloud infrastructure, hardware, and proficiency in query languages such as SQL and KQL. Desirable skills include: - Experience in Power BI and languages such as M query and DAX. - Awareness of programming languages like Python and C#. - Experience or awareness in software requirements gathering and software development. - Experience managing third-party supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

As an Application Support Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to respond to incidents, change requests, and engage in proactive monitoring to address challenges impacting our client solutions. You will serve as the first point of contact for our customers experiencing issues with solutions provided by our Software Engineering Team. Customer service is key to this role; thus, it is crucial to understand our customers' needs thoroughly and have a real desire to help them reach a successful resolution. You will also be expected to mentor junior team members and assist the Client Support Team Lead in continually improving our Client Support.
