Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- An IT background with at least 3 years of experience in ERP/SAP Development, Implementation, or Transformation projects in a coordinating role.
- Knowledge of testing management processes and standards.
- Experience in a coordination role within a transformation project, with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in effectively meeting deadlines, summarizing data, and communicating defect statuses across various stakeholder groups.
- Attention to detail and resilience in negotiating with multiple System and Business Integrators to ensure timely defect resolution.
- Ability to be actively alert and manage risks within the defect process to ensure project completion remains on track.
- A team player attitude, with a desire to develop new professional skills, and a proactive, goal-focused work approach.
- Excellent documentation, visualization, and presentation skills, along with experience working with System Integrators, Business Integrators, and third parties.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and influencing skills, with the ability to function successfully in a team environment and work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take on the following key responsibilities:
- Defect Management Strategy: Collaborate with the Defect Manager to build a robust defect management strategy.
- Defect Management: Track, analyze, and manage defects identified during testing, ensuring timely resolution. Set the team up for success by creating collaboration opportunities, such as using Teams.
- Defect QA: Ensure all teams adhere to the defect process, evidence is correctly captured, and documentation is completed before closure.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Defect Manager, project teams, business stakeholders, and IT departments to get regular updates on defects, ensure planned fix dates are adhered to, and highlight any issues or risks. Provide support with testing tools to record key data during the defect lifecycle.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present defect reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the defect process.
- Tools: Utilize testing tools (JIRA, SNOW, eCATT, SAP Solution Manager, AzureDevOps, Cloud ALM, or equivalent) for test management.
- Manage cross-team and stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within yourself and the team.
Description
As we work to transform and optimize Mars, we have mobilized a new program focused on the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA across our segments, including Petcare, Corporate, Snacking, and Food. This initiative goes beyond a simple “Lift and Shift”; it aims to achieve major process simplification and harmonization as we digitally transform our business. The program will target eight mega process areas: Finance, Source to Pay (procurement and vendor management), Plan to Fulfill (manufacturing and distribution), Lead to Cash (order processing and payment), Governance, Engage to Consume (marketing), Idea to Market (R&D), and Recruit to Retire (HR). A Technology and Transformation Team will be vital for delivering the technical foundations and operational readiness for the S/4HANA Transformation. We have a role for a Defect Analyst to drive quality assurance efforts within our SAP S/4HANA environment.
