Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates who have an IT background with at least 3 years of experience in ERP/SAP Development, Implementation, or Transformation projects in a coordinating role. You should possess a profound knowledge of testing management, including automation test processes and standards. Experience in gathering test scenarios and processes is essential, along with the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to determine which scenarios should be automated based on risk, complexity, and business impact. A strong understanding of the S/4HANA product roadmap is necessary.
Organizational skills are critical, as you will need to effectively set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor the progress of various stakeholder activities, ensuring clear ownership is established. Attention to detail is vital as you coordinate with the Test Factory and external partners. We value a team player attitude, with a hunger to develop new professional skills combined with a proactive, development-minded, and goal-focused approach. Excellent documentation, visualization, and presentation skills are required. Experience working with System Integrators and Business Integrators, as well as excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, is also essential. You must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a professional manner.
Responsibilities
In your role, you will contribute to the end-to-end test automation strategy aligned with the SAP S/4HANA transformation roadmap and satellite system integrations. Your responsibilities will include promoting governance frameworks, standards, and policies for automation across various teams and vendors. You will also drive alignment of automation objectives with business priorities, compliance requirements, and quality standards, ensuring seamless integration testing, regression, and continuous delivery in a hybrid SAP and non-SAP environment.
Collaboration with the Testing COE and Test Factory is crucial. You will work closely to define which test scenarios should be automated or are best suited for manual testing. Regression testing, both manual and automated, will be executed under the guidance of the Testing COE. You will facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment to enhance continuous improvement in testing approaches.
You will promote the adoption of best practices for automation script development, maintenance, and version control. Partnering with program management, business process owners, and IT leadership, you will communicate automation strategies, progress, and associated risks. Your role will involve identifying automation-related risks affecting project timelines and quality, proposing mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Senior Performance Test Lead. Continuous improvement will be a priority, as you will work to enhance the testing process and ensure automated test scripts are regularly maintained for use.
