Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of strong and proven experience as an Application Developer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge, understanding, and current usage of C# .NET, MS Blazor, and Entity Framework.
- Understanding of Azure resources such as ADF, ASB, and Logic Apps.
- Experience with server management, maintenance, and patching.
- Knowledge of Git or other Git-based versioning tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Committed and passionate.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing system or application errors.
- Building new system functionality, interfaces, or reporting content.
- Providing input on strategic considerations regarding system expansion or scaling.
- Managing workload to balance short, medium, and long-term deliverables.
- Assessing and providing estimates of development effort to the application delivery team.
- Working with analysts and business SMEs to define, refine, and agree on requirements.
- Ensuring code is suitably documented and annotated.
- Testing developed code to ensure requirements are met and outcomes align with expectations before releasing for business testing.
Description
We are currently recruiting for an Application Developer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote position, though occasional visits to our main office in Braintree may be required for meetings. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing new functionality, fixing bugs, enhancing performance, and refactoring code to minimize technical debt. You will collaborate closely with the application delivery team, business analysts, development colleagues, and business SMEs to ensure that system functionality and performance are maintained, and that new requests are built to specification and in a timely manner. We are looking for someone with proven technical ability, who is organized, detail-oriented, numerate, analytical, and has excellent oral and written communication skills. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, and we offer a competitive salary based on experience.
