Requirements
Must:
- Degree qualified or equivalent in a technology, engineering, or science-related discipline
- Understanding of engineering lifecycle principles and approaches for design and development
- Experience in Systems Engineering
- Ability to perform data analysis on large, complex datasets using statistical methods and scripting languages (e.g. MATLAB)
- Hands-on experience with complex, real-world systems to collect, validate, and interpret operational data is desirable
Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering principles of ISO 15288 throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Decompose requirements to system and sub-system levels using approved tools such as IBM DOORS Next
- Undertake system design decomposition and modeling to subsystem level using tools like CATIA Magic (Cameo)
- Define and articulate acceptance strategies for verifying requirement compliance
- Assist with technical reviews and verification of engineering technical design and documentation
- Collect and analyze real-world system data for performance, reliability, and usage patterns
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and visualization tools to identify trends and inform decisions
Description
We are a multinational defence organization seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team based in either Broadoak or Cowes. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 plus a bonus.
