Requirements
Must:
- I require advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Azure, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Networking.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
- I expect the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle is necessary.
Responsibilities
- I will need you to provide technical support to clients, both remotely and onsite.
- Your duties will include installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- I will ask you to manage and maintain cloud-based solutions, including Azure and Exchange Online.
- You will also manage and maintain SharePoint sites.
- Ensuring network security and data protection is crucial.
- I expect you to maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and processes.
Description
We are a busy Managed IT service provider looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should reside in Scotland and be prepared for onsite visits to clients in the region, especially around Fife. We offer flexibility with a part-time or full-time job type, with an hourly rate between £14.00-£18.00 per hour. The position includes a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home with occasional onsite visits. The expected start date for this role is August 1, 2025.
