Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in product development or buying background
- Strong understanding of fabrics within product development
- Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Ability to conduct gap and competitor analysis
- Capable of collaborating cross-functionally to achieve goals
- Experience in creating well-researched and compelling proposals
- Strong organizational skills to manage a structured critical path
- Willingness to travel internationally (2-3 trips to the Far East)
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and invigorate evergreen ranges of fabric accessories
- Identify product requirements and set pricing and cost margins
- Develop product concepts and negotiate with suppliers
- Ensure products are available at the right time and margin
- Collaborate with Designers, Technicians, and Engineers in product development
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align goals
- Deliver against a structured critical path for product launches
