Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in an IT Manager or Senior IT role, ideally from a Logistics/Distribution industry.
- Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Saas), and IT security.
- Experience managing IT projects end-to-end.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of all IT systems, networks, hardware and software.
- Lead and develop the IT function, ensuring high performance and excellent service delivery.
- Manage the companys IT environment, including PCs, laptops, peripherals, networking equipment, printers, scanners, label printers, mobile devices, telephony, and CCTV.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support and oversee day-to-day IT support operations, ensuring incidents and requests are resolved efficiently.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement and vendor relationships.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity policies, monitoring and response practices are in place.
- Deliver upgrades, installations and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership for projects including cloud migration, system integrations, and digital transformation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Support staff across the organisation by delivering effective IT guidance and training.
