Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT technical support, preferably in 1st or 2nd line
- Working knowledge of O365 and Windows 10 (including servers 2016/19)
- Exposure to firewall security
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Knowledge of networking systems, including routers and switches
- Familiarity with JIRA for service desk ticket management
- Understanding of CISCO, DNS, and DHCP is a plus
- Access to a car and ability to be onsite 5 days a week
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton
- Troubleshoot 1st and 2nd line enquiries related to IT systems
- Collaborate closely with the IT manager to resolve issues
- Support a variety of technical equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and telephone systems
- Manage service desk tickets using the JIRA system, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs
- Gain experience with core networking systems, including managing WiFi backups and VOIP systems
