We are looking for a Senior TM1 Developer with strong hands-on experience in IBM Planning Analytics, specifically in Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting, TM1 Rules, and performance optimization. You should be proficient in building scalable, high-performance planning, budgeting, and forecasting models. Experience in end-to-end TM1 development lifecycle, including upgrades, configuration, and system administration is essential. Integration experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and other enterprise data sources is highly desirable. You should possess a solid understanding of information systems concepts and the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with designing and implementing data flows, automations, and ETL processes, as well as the ability to troubleshoot technical issues to optimize model performance, is necessary. Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and familiarity with Alteryx are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for documentation and reporting, is required. You will need to partner effectively with Finance, FP&A, and Commercial teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. A collaborative approach to teamwork, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a proactive ownership attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
In your role, you will partner with Finance, FP&A, and Commercial teams to understand their planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs. You will have hands-on technical responsibilities, developing, enhancing, and maintaining TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, and hierarchies. You will build and optimize TI Processes and TM1 Rules to automate data loads, calculations, and business logic. Owning the technical development across TM1, you will ensure high performance, scalability, and best-practice model design. You will also integrate TM1 with ERP systems and other data sources to ensure accurate and consistent data flow. Leading improvements to existing processes, you will proactively enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities. Your role will also involve managing system issues, including upgrades, configuration, and vendor relationships (including IBM). You will facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and support stakeholders with insights for decision-making. Maintaining solid governance through documentation of models, processes, and system changes will be vital. You will deliver training, user guides, and foster knowledge-sharing across the TM1 community.
Description
This is a hands-on role within a global organization, and we are offering a fixed-term contract of 12 months with the potential to extend. The salary range is approximately £90k - £95k, along with a comprehensive benefits package. We support hybrid working arrangements, allowing for 3 days on-site with flexibility regarding the office and days. In addition, we offer 25 days of leave with 3 additional discretionary days, 4 volunteering days, private medical insurance, pension benefits, a share match scheme, and a 24/7 employee assistance program. Development and progression opportunities will be available after the initial 12-month period. Please note that candidates must be eligible to work in the UK as we cannot provide sponsorship.
