Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates who have experience in 1st and 2nd Line IT Support, with a willingness to handle 1st Line tickets. You should be comfortable acting as the first point of contact for IT issues. Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, MDM (Intune), and support for Apple iOS and Android is essential. Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD for password resets, permissions, and mailbox management is required. Experience with desktop applications and networked peripherals (printers, AV kit, mobile devices) is also needed. An understanding of networking principles such as DHCP and DNS is required at a 1st Line level. Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills are necessary. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused attitude are crucial. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a small IT support team, demonstrating a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

As an IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd Line IT support to approximately 700 end users across the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. You will support users via phone, email, face-to-face, and remote tools. Your role will involve IT service delivery, systems support, and IT project-based work. You will log, prioritize, and manage incidents and requests using ServiceNow. Additionally, you will install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Troubleshooting issues by analyzing root causes and evaluating options will be part of your daily tasks. You will also support the onboarding process for new starters through IT inductions and assist with IT project-based technical activities.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a potential for conversion to a permanent role. The salary range is £38k - £40k, along with a 14% annual bonus. The position is hybrid, based in Hounslow, requiring you to be onsite for four days a week. Please note that we cannot provide sponsorship, so candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
