Requirements
Must:
- IT Business Partner experience in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer sectors
- Knowledge of Retail Systems and/or Ecommerce platforms in D2C processes
- Expertise in D2C processes and Customer Journey optimisation
- Proficiency in Retail SAP S4/HANA, POS Retail Store systems, and Ecommerce platforms
- Experience with CRM, email marketing, and loyalty platforms
- Master Data Management through Retail and Ecommerce systems
- Responsible for D2C Reporting (Analytics) and D2C SaaS solutions
- Proven track record of cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness
- Strategic mindset and emotional intelligence
- Collaborative approach to teamwork
Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic IT Business Partner for Retail & Ecommerce operations
- Align technology initiatives with business priorities
- Drive continuous improvement across the customer journey
- Own the D2C Applications landscape across Retail & Digital channels
- Lead cross-functional planning and stakeholder engagement
- Manage vendors and coordinate with international IT teams
- Drive Digital Transformation and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Shape and govern the IT demand pipeline aligned to business strategy
- Prioritise initiatives and influence investment planning
- Facilitate governance forums with senior stakeholders
- Build trusted partnerships across Retail, Digital, Supply Chain & Finance
- Translate business strategy into technology capability roadmaps
- Lead workshops to identify improvement and innovation opportunities
- Own the end-to-end D2C Application landscape
- Drive Automation, Integration, and Process simplification
- Lead Business Cases and Transformation initiatives
- Develop Capability Roadmaps aligned to Enterprise Architecture
- Identify opportunities leveraging AI, Automation & Analytics
- Ensure scalability for future growth
- Oversee Incident Management and root cause resolution
- Ensure vendor performance and SLA delivery
- Maintain IT System stability and performance
Description
We are an international FMCG organization seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to lead and evolve our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Technology landscape across Retail and Digital Channels. This highly visible role is situated at the intersection of Business Strategy, Technology, and Customer Experience, ensuring systems, processes, and digital capabilities support ongoing growth and innovation. Our position offers a competitive salary of circa £80,000, along with a bonus, car allowance, and additional benefits. We operate on a hybrid model from our West London location, requiring three days onsite.
