Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years experience in technical/data projects
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret complex information
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and workflow/requirement tools - DevOps
- Understanding of business operations, financial modelling, and process mapping
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prior experience with Snowflake preferred
- Background in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong data warehousing knowledge
- Business acumen with understanding of strategic data drivers
- Analytical and critical-thinking mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, ERDs, and user stories
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
- Perform data discovery, modelling, and process optimisation
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions
- Support testing and validation of solutions (including UAT)
- Create mock reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate insights
- Prepare detailed documentation covering requirements, processes, and solutions
Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Data to join our Digital team in Birmingham, working one day per week onsite. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, leveraging your expertise in data analytics, cloud warehousing, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a critical role in developing our Snowflake environment, ensuring accurate and timely data is delivered to support business objectives.
