Requirements
Must:
- Experience delivering IT internal audits, including ITGCs and application controls
- Strong report-writing skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly in person to stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
- Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A delivery-focused mindset with strong organisational skills
- A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach
- Previous hands-on knowledge of IT security and infrastructure (desirable)
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and COBIT (desirable)
- Experience providing assurance over major transformation programmes (desirable)
- Working towards or holding a relevant qualification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering risk-based IT internal audits
- Reviewing and assessing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls
- Identifying control weaknesses and evaluating risk exposure
- Producing clear, high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Supporting annual assurance reviews aligned to recognised frameworks
- Building strong working relationships with IT and business stakeholders
- Tracking remediation actions and driving continuous improvement
- Providing IT assurance on major business and technology change programmes
- Gaining broad exposure across IT governance, security and infrastructure in a sizeable, multi-site environment.
Description
We are a large-scale organization seeking a Group IT Auditor to join our Group Audit function. This is a high-visibility role that offers exposure across enterprise-wide IT, operational and regulatory environments, with regular engagement with senior stakeholders. We offer a permanent position with a salary range of £45,000 - £58,000 plus benefits, and a hybrid working model allowing three days per week in the office and two days from home.
