Requirements
Must:
- Expert experience in Software Licensing, specifically with Azure licensing optimization, service plans, and reserve capacity
- Familiarity with Azure EA / Enterprise Agreements, Server Cloud, and wider Microsoft licensing including SQL, Windows, Dynamics, and M365
- Experience in renewals, demand, licensing metrics, and audit management
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience
- Exposure to team leading or people management is beneficial, with a willingness to move into management
- Desirable: Any exposure to IBM or Oracle licensing, although not essential
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize software licensing for Microsoft products, including Azure
- Oversee renewals and licensing metrics to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Conduct audits and manage any identified threats to licensing
- Negotiate with vendors regarding licensing terms and conditions
- Collaborate with the team to provide best practices and strategies for software licensing
- Participate in the management pathway, ready to lead a team in the future
