Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Software Licensing, Software Asset Management (SAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM)
- In-depth knowledge of IBM licensing, including ILMT bundling, configuration, MDM, Filenet, and IBM-specific terms
- Familiarity with Oracle Java and Database licensing terms
- Extensive experience with Microsoft licensing, encompassing Dynamics, Office, Power Platform, bundling, and capacity considerations
- Desirable experience in Azure, including OST, SQL, Windows, PaaS, ACM, Azure Advisor, tagging, AHUB, RI, Savings Plans, and Blob storage
- Understanding of Adobe licensing and online service terms
- Commercial or forensic experience in a software audit environment
Responsibilities
- Manage software licensing compliance and optimization processes in accordance with company policies
- Oversee the configuration and bundling of IBM products and licensing
- Conduct licensing audits and ensure adherence to Oracle, Microsoft, and Adobe terms
- Collaborate on various licensing negotiations and maintain effective relationships with software vendors
- Develop strategies for cost-effective software management and utilization
- Provide expert guidance on software asset management principles and procedures
Description
We are a leading company seeking to recruit a Software Licensing Specialist for a hybrid remote position located in Warwickshire, requiring approximately 2-3 days in the office each month. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £90,000, along with a bonus of up to 25% and additional benefits. Our aim is to find a candidate with a strong background in software licensing and asset management who can contribute significantly to our team.
