Requirements
Must:
- Senior Management / Director / Head of level experience in Delivery Director / Development Delivery Director / Software Delivery Director / Delivery Lead roles
- Proven experience leading software development teams to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Expertise in transforming development teams to a full Service ownership model
- Strong experience managing key stakeholders and ensuring alignment to planned outcomes
- Knowledge and experience in managing multiple migrations to Cloud from On-Prem
- Proficient in budgeting and cost management for teams
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a robust risk and controls regime
- Experience in delivering large scale and complex software programs, system integrations, and migrations within financial services
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in onboarding and offboarding technology teams
- Strong team management, people management, and leadership skills
- Relevant experience in the Financial Services sector, specifically in General Insurance, Life & Pensions, or Banking
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach software development teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes
- Manage transitions to a full Service ownership model within development teams
- Oversee stakeholder management to ensure alignment with project goals
- Coordinate multiple cloud migrations from on-premise systems
- Develop and manage budgets for software delivery teams
- Establish and maintain a risk and controls framework for project governance
- Drive the delivery of large scale software programs and system integrations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for technology teams
- Provide leadership and management to ensure team effectiveness and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value
Description

This is a 12-month contract offering a competitive daily rate between £1,000 and £1,750, inside IR35.
