Requirements
Must:
- Experience in MS Server administration (Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL, Clustering, File & Print, WDS)
- Proficient in M365 administration (Hybrid Active Directory, Teams, Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune)
- Knowledge of email services management (Mimecast, M365, MS Outlook, MS Exchange)
- Familiarity with Veeam Backups for local and cloud environments
- Experience with SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (M365 integration, user and policy management)
- Competency in server/desktop software patch management (using Action1 or similar tools)
- Understanding of mobile device management and M365 application protection policies
- Ability to maintain and operate network security and anti-virus processes
- Skills in PC and server hardware deployment and maintenance
- Experience with network storage, particularly SAN management
- Proficient in maintaining communication systems including firewall, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and internet
- Capacity to provide 3rd line support and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Administer MS Server environments, ensuring efficient operation of Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL, and related services
- Manage M365 environment, including Teams, Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, and Intune
- Oversee management of email services and ensure seamless operation and maintenance
- Implement and manage Veeam Backups for both local and cloud systems
- Configure and manage SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge with M365 integration
- Conduct server/desktop software patch management to keep systems updated
- Implement mobile device management strategies for secure application use
- Maintain network security and manage anti-virus processes to protect company assets
- Deploy and maintain PC and server hardware as needed
- Manage network storage, particularly focusing on SAN management
- Ensure effective operation and maintenance of communication systems including firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
- Provide 3rd line level support for IT issues as they arise
Description
We are a leading company based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, offering a permanent role with a competitive salary range of £35,000 – 45,000 plus excellent benefits.
