Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in architectural tools (e.g., ArchiMate) and frameworks, such as design patterns and modelling languages
- Demonstrable breadth of technical knowledge in data and security architecture
- Proven ability to advise and challenge teams for optimal solutions
- Prior experience in software engineering or architecture, especially within agile delivery teams recommended
- Willingness to pursue additional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Open Agile Architecture™ Practitioner) if not already held
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and make enterprise-level decisions on digital technologies
- Plan and deliver a prioritised schedule of work using agile methodologies
- Serve as a Service Assessor, ensuring compliance with service standards
- Promote re-use and scalability across Defence and reduce duplicate technologies
- Lead, inspire, and influence engineering and architecture teams to ensure high-quality outputs
- Champion product and service delivery using agile user-centred design methodologies
