Requirements
Must:
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT support or network engineering within an MSP.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid networks (on-prem, virtualized, Azure).
- Strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Ubiquiti, or Aruba).
- Familiarity with legacy infrastructure (AD, RDS, VMware/Hyper-V environments).
- Knowledge of monitoring and management tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Intune).
- Strong understanding of network and cloud security principles.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (session hosts, FSLogix, networking).
- Certifications are a plus: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Azure Network Engineer Associate, ITIL Foundation.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to escalation point for complex network and infrastructure issues.
- Maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewall, and Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices across platforms like Cisco, Fortinet, HP, and Aruba.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to deliver secure, scalable network solutions.
- Assist with network migrations and modernization projects.
- Keep detailed documentation and provide guidance to first- and second-line engineers.
