Senior 3rd Line IT Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience in a 3rd Line / Senior Engineer role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. You should possess strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Intune, alongside an excellent understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and Windows Server environments. Experience with RMM tools, security platforms, and endpoint management is essential, as is familiarity with tools and platforms such as Mimecast, Avanan, SentinelOne, MDR/XDR, Fortinet, Huntress, Datto, and Autotask. You should demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams. Familiarity with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and other frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001 is important, along with a commitment to producing clear documentation and sharing knowledge. Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Expert, CompTIA Security+, CISSP or similar cybersecurity qualifications, ITIL Foundation, and any vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Fortinet, SentinelOne, Datto).
