Requirements
Must:
- Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping, component libraries, and system design
- Proven experience in UX/Product Design, specifically with micro frontends and single page web apps
- Preferably experience working with AI for design
- Proven experience designing for dense, data-rich interfaces
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UX and UI work across complex digital products
- Confident in engaging with stakeholders and presenting design solutions clearly
- Comfortable working independently within a cross-functional team across multiple time zones
- Solid understanding of UX best practices, usability principles, and responsive design
Responsibilities
- Focus on UX and product design across a variety of digital touchpoints
- Facilitate and contribute to requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Translate business and user needs into clear, usable, and elegant design solutions
- Create detailed user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interaction specs
- Work within and contribute to an evolving design system
- Collaborate closely with visual designers, developers, business analysts, and content teams
- Help drive an agile, user-centered design process, incorporating user research, feedback, and analytics
Description
We are MCS Group, seeking a talented Product/UX Designer to join our clients digital experience team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role, with the designer working on-site in Belfast, Northern Ireland, 2 - 3 days per week. Our commitment to excellence has earned us a 4.9-star rating on Google, and we are proud to be the first recruitment agency in NI to achieve Bronze Diversity Mark accreditation. The duration of this contract is until the end of 2026, with potential for extension.
