Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience mentoring and leading engineers
- Proven track record of delivering complex features within high-performing development teams
- Strong understanding of cloud-based systems and distributed architectures
- Experience with PHP (Symfony 7), NodeJS, Python, Rust, TypeScript, Angular 19, and AWS
- A pragmatic approach to engineering, balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability
- Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments
- Genuine passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Spend 70-80% of your time hands-on in the code, building and delivering high-quality features
- Lead by promoting clean, scalable development and support the team in technical decision-making and best practices
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership, including setting engineering standards and reviewing code
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor and develop engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving
- Work closely with product and design teams to help shape roadmaps and turn ideas into deliverable outcomes
- Contribute to the ongoing development of engineering culture, workflows, and delivery processes
