Requirements
Must:
- HNC / Level 4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, IT, Computer Systems or similar
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, EMS, telemetry or operational technology systems
- Understanding of SCADA communication protocols (e.g. IEC , DNP3, ICCP)
- Experience diagnosing and resolving real-time technical issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Clear communication skills and attention to documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland
- Flexibility for standby and out-of-hours work
Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot SCADA/EMS and associated telemetry systems
- Ensure real-time data is accurate, reliable and continuously available
- Investigate faults, resolve incidents and support major system restorations
- Support commissioning of new assets, including substations and generators
- Manage system updates, testing and change processes
- Contribute to system upgrades and wider operational technology (OT) projects
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure secure data integration
- Maintain documentation, system models and compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity standards
- Participate in standby and out-of-hours support (24/7 environment)
