Requirements
Must:
- Strong active involvement in sport (e.g. playing, coaching, competing, or ongoing participation in team-based sports) OR excellent academic performance in STEM (high-achieving university or school results)
- 2-4 years experience delivering production features
- Strong experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React is ideal)
- Exposure to backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Comfortable working across the full stack
- Enjoys solving problems, shaping systems, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator who collaborates well with engineering, product, and design
Responsibilities
- Designing and building new features across web, mobile, and backend services
- Developing clean, scalable APIs and application logic
- Working with cloud-native systems, data sources, and modern dev workflows
- Driving improvements in performance, reliability, and code quality
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to best practices
- Getting involved in technical discussions, planning, and architecture decisions
